Rose Costume: Back

Here's the Halloween costume of Rose from "Titanic" that I came up with in 2001 (I was 15 at the time). The dress I'm wearing was my actual homecoming dress (and I know Rose never wore anything with spaghetti straps, but that's how the dress came and I can't sew to save my life!). It's a bit hard to see, but I am actually wearing a small replica of the Heart of the Ocean, complete with matching earrings. It's a bit hard to see, but I have silver butterfly clips in my hair similar to those Rose wore in the movie as well. Also, the silver thing I'm holding is a cardboard cutout of the "stern" of the ship that my dad and I painted. It actually says, "Titanic" on it.

I have no idea who the people in front of me are, but the guy behind me with the spiked hair, the ghetto cell phone and beer can is my little brother (he was around 13 or 14 at the time). He dressed as those guys from the Budweiser commercials who just said, "Whassssuuuup?" the whole time, since that was the year those commercials were big (and his shirt also says, "Whassssuuuup?" It was hilarious!)
