Moonbeam We couldn’t seem to get back to the motel fast enough, though why is still a mystery. It’s not like we had some pressing details to iron out or anything. Bobby slumped down and sat on the foot of the bed while loosening his tie in a haze. “Bobby, are you alright?” I questioned, concerned. He didn’t answer. He stared off into space blankly. I waved my hand in front of his face. “Bobby?” Nothing. I snapped my fingers several times. “Are you with me?” I asked. Still no response.
